A brief story of mine

Amelize Mattos is a dancer, teacher and choreographer with over 18 years of experience. She has already fulfilled contracts as a dancer in countries such as India, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey. She did an Indian classical dance improvement exchange in Bangalore in 2015 and in Punjabi in 2017 to improve her bhangra. It has several awards at important festivals with different choreographies, among which, it is worth highlighting the first place in the largest dance festival in the world: on the Joinville Dance Festival, Amelize received first place in the female solo category of popular dances.

In 2018 Amelize created Companhia Nrty, the first dance company specialized in Indian dances in RS. In 2019, he received several awards with the team at festivals such as Dança Bagé, Garopaba em Dança, Jaguarão em Dança, among others. In 2020 and 2021 the company continued to be active developing works in videodance and participating in the 2 Online shows produced by the director.

In 2022 Amelize and Cia Nrty premiere the “Natyam” a full indian dance show with many kinds of indian dances, with the support of Consulate General of Indian In São Paulo and Mahindra Brazil.
